Andrew H. Hemm Awards of Excellence 2019

This award, first given in 2000-2001, was established by Andrew M. Hemm to recognize outstanding student performance in the study of Chinese and Japanese. In 2003, Mr. Hemm created an endowment to fund this prize in perpetuity. The prizes are given annually to two students who maintain the highest GPA's during their first two years of studying Chinese and Japanese, respectively, and to two seniors, in Chinese and Japanese for their outstanding work over the past four years.
