Laura was born and raised in Inman, South Carolina, and joined the W&L development staff in August 2019. She previously worked as a victim advocate in Williamsburg, Virginia, and gained experience working in higher education at Wofford College and at the College of William & Mary. She is excited to assist Donor Relations in the acknowledgment and stewardship of donors. Laura’s husband, Cody, is a professor of computer science at Washington and Lee, and they enjoy spending time exploring Lexington with their dog, Samson.

Education: Presbyterian College, B.S.

Areas of Responsibility: Assists in communicating with and reporting to donors and helps to ensure proper stewardship and acknowledgement of major gifts.

Hobbies/Interests: All things outdoors, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family.
