Majo Bustamante joined the Annual Giving team in 2018 after graduating from Washington and Lee University with a degree in strategic communications, with a business concentration, and minors in philosophy and film. She is from Costa Rica and came to W&L as an international student. During her undergraduate career, she worked as a web videographer for the Office of Communications and Public Affairs and as a student caller through the Phonathon program. When the opportunity arose to manage Phonathon after graduation, Majo was excited to take on this new role and to continue living in Lexington.

Education: Washington and Lee University, B.A.

Areas of Responsibility: Manages Phonathon and Annual Giving programming, supports Generals' Club athletic fundraising, oversees the 1749 Circle and develops social media content to engage the W&L community.

Hobbies/Interests: Spending time with family and friends, traveling, exercising, cooking, watching movies, and reading classics and fiction.
