Steve Wasser Senior Director of Development

Steve Wasser, a native of Pennsylvania and Northern Virginia, joined the development team in 2017. With experience working on capital campaigns for Augustana College and the hospitals of UnityPoint Health, Steve is responsible for securing leadership support from alumni, parents and friends of the University. Steve lives in Lexington with his wife, Sommer, and their children.

Education: Washington and Lee University, B.A.

Geographic Territory: Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Maryland, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin

Areas of Responsibility: Steve is a member of the leadership gifts team responsible for securing private support for the University.

Hobbies/Interests: Reading, running, travel, film buff and lots of family time.
