William Greer, a native of Georgia, joined W&L's development team in 2014. William previously served as director of development and church relations at Roanoke College, and prior to that served as an Outward Bound instructor in the Florida Keys. William is a strong believer in the value of liberal arts and enjoys working with alumni, parents and friends of W&L. William is married to Carrie Meade Greer. They have three children: Meade, Thomas and Martin.

Geographic Territory: Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Delaware, Northern New Jersey and the Pacific Northwest

Areas of Responsibility: William is part of the leadership gifts team responsible for securing private support from alumni, parents and friends of the University.

Hobbies/Interests: Division III college athletics, coaching youth sports, camping, spending quality time with family, upland game hunting, dog training and fishing.
