Ting-Ting Yen


Ting-Ting Yen is equally at home performing and teaching as both a violinist and a pianist. She joined the Accompanying Faculty at Washington and Lee University in 2015.

As a violinist, Ting-Ting is currently a member of the Winston-Salem Symphony and was formerly a member of the New Mexico Philharmonic, as well as a substitute violinist for the Williamsburg Symphony and the Santa Fe Symphony. She has performed with the Garth Newel Piano Quartet, and has toured with the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players. She was also a Violin Faculty member at Cazadero Performing Arts Camp.

As a pianist, Ting-Ting was the resident accompanist at Bravo! Music Festival and a teacher at Yinghua Academy in Minneapolis. She is currently the music director at Warm Springs Presbyterian Church in Bath County, VA.

Ting-Ting received her DMA in Violin Performance, studying with Sally O’Reilly, and a Masters in Collaborative Piano with Timothy Lovelace at the University of Minnesota. She also holds a Masters degree from Manhattan School of Music.
