أهلاً وسهلاً بكم في جامعة واشنطن ولي!

Welcome to Arabic at Washington and Lee University! We are excited to offer six continuous semesters of Arabic coursework, designed to reflect the rich linguistic, literary, and cultural diversity of the Middle East. WLUArabic also regularly offers advanced-level courses in language, literature, and culture. In the classroom, we adopt a learner-centered approach that encourages students to actively engage with speaking, listening, reading, and writing Arabic. Our objective is to support students' language learning skills through the development and application of language learning strategies and critical thinking skills.
