  • Ph.D., Bioorganic Chemistry with Dr. Marianna Kanska
  • Designed, synthesized and radiolabeled with radioisotopes (2H, 3H, 14C) biologically active amino acids and biogenic amines. Stereospecific labeled compounds applied in the active sites and mechanistic studies of diamine oxidases.
  • Studied the mechanism of the biotransformation of the diamine oxidase. Designed and synthesized radiolabeled precursors (using classical synthesis tools and biocatalysis tools) for in vivo imaging by PET.

2001 - 2006 Warsaw University, Warsaw, Poland

  • M.S. with Dr. Marzena Janskowska-Anyszka
  • Synthesized a new class of ribose-functionalized dinucleotide mRNA cap analogues and applied for synthesis of the affinity chromatography resin. Studied interaction between mRNA cap and eIF4E protein.
