Meaghan Latella '16
While at W&L, Meaghan majored in Journalism and played for the Women's Soccer Team. When she graduated, she moved out to Colorado Springs to pursue a Summer internship with the USOC. She worked on the Digital Media team to help maintain the USOC's website during the 2016 Rio Games. After the internship concluded, she moved to Denver and had a remote position as a contributing writer for ESPN.com. Her time with ESPN was mainly focused on writing short articles based off of social media buzz and reaction to major events or breaking news. Most recently, Meaghan moved back to the East Coast to work for a startup called SidelineSwap, a sports marketplace where people can buy and sell sports equipment. She works with a small, hardworking team, and claims there's never a dull moment! In this role, she's switched over to the marketing side of sports. In the past year and a half, Meaghan has learned a lot about SEO, content creation and branding.
