Paul Negron '03

Negron Paul graduated from Washington and Lee in 2003 with a bachelor of arts in communications. Shortly after graduation, he moved to South Florida where he worked in a variety or marketing and communications roles. Looking to pursue new opportunities at mission-based organizations, Paul moved to Washington, DC in 2013. He currently works as the communications manager for the Urban Libraries Council, a national nonprofit dedicated to promoting the values of North America's leading public library systems. Paul manages ULC's communications initiatives and public relations outreach. An experienced storyteller for local, state and national audiences, he has a proven track record of driving communications and social media strategy. Prior to joining ULC, Paul served as the public affairs specialist for the DC State Board of Education.

Paul is currently pursuing a master's degree in public relations and corporate communications at Georgetown University. A Long Island, NY native and avid soccer player, singer, and tennis enthusiast, Paul currently lives in Ward 1's Park View neighborhood. He loves connecting with students regarding nonprofit careers and talking about what it's like to live and work in the nation's capital!
