Elizabeth Yarbrough '92

YarbroughElizabeth Yarbrough graduated in 1992 from Washington and Lee with a degree in Business Administration. Not knowing what she wanted to do, Elizabeth took a job with First Union Bank at that time and became a commercial lender. After two years in that industry, Elizabeth and her husband Jim decided to start a family and had their first child, Jim, in 1996. Jim is a member of the W&L Class of 2018!

After serving as the Junior League President, Chair of a community built playground, United Way volunteer and many other volunteer jobs, Elizabeth decided to return to the work force in 2009. Now with 3 teenagers, they are much more flexible about her working hours. She started her own company in 2009, called The Doctor's Bag, a healthcare marketing company specializing in building websites for physician practices and hospital systems. She has recently rebranded her company under the name LinkMD and has expanded her service line to include qualified patient lead generation, physician online reputation management, and online listing management services. She is in the process of wrapping up development of her IP, a physician database of information that can manage profiles, feed websites, and populate a physician directory and mobile app.
