Spencer Karney '05
Spencer received an M.B.A. from Duke University and a B.S. in Business Administration with special attainments in Commerce from Washington and Lee University. He is currently Director of Customer Experience for Asurion in Nashville, TN. He worked as a Manager with Deloitte Consulting's Monitor Deloitte Strategy practice and has managed strategy and implementation projects for health care, consumer products, and telecommunications clients. Spencer joined Deloitte upon graduation from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. While in graduate school, Spencer was an Summer Intern Consultant with the Strategy & Transformation practice of IBM Global Business Services as well as a strategy consultant for Wasserman Media Group's Hispanic Consulting group. Prior to business school, Spencer co-founded a South America-based executive education start-up company where he oversaw the company's launch and managed its day-to-day operations. He also has deep experience in the marketing and media industries from his years with NASCAR's fan affinity division. He is an avid golfer, traveler, and sports fan.
