Molly Steele joined the Career Development team in January 2016 as the Assistant Director for STEM programs supporting student development and career resources in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Molly assists students interested in scientific research and industry with career exploration, job searches, and application preparation.

Prior to joining Career Development, she worked in the retail industry in a variety of roles including merchandising, buying, and inventory management. She oversaw product development for women’s apparel and managed teams in long-term strategic planning.

Molly received a BA in Mathematics and French from Washington and Lee University in 2004 and obtained her MS in Financial Mathematics from Florida State University. While at W&L, she was a member of the University Shenandoah Symphony Orchestra and was awarded an R.E. Lee Scholarship for research in mathematics.
