Public Safety provides several resources to prepare all students in the event of a campus emergency, including the LiveSafe App for download, the General Alerts text message system, and the Emergency Management Plan in event of unexpected situations.
Our Public Safety department manages our parking issues, safe-ride program and Emergency Management Plan, and officers patrol campus day to day to ensure campus security.
Keeping students, employees and visitors secure and safe is Public Safety's primary concern. Because of Public Safety's requirement to also be the enforcement agency of the university, our officers deal with a variety of issues and work to address all situations with the highest degree of professionalism.
