COVID-19 Update

In coordination with the university's COVID-19 response plan, museum events have been canceled for the 2020-2021 academic year. But some of our exhibits are explorable online.

Looking to expand classroom learning or wish to engage your children in art and history? The Museums at W&L makes it easy to do so. In support of our mission, the Museums at W&L has offered customized tours, programs, after-school programs for school and homeschool groups, and Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops.

The Museums at W&L consists of the Lee Chapel and Museum, the Reeves Museum of Ceramics, and Watson Galleries. Museum staff members can lead groups through all three of our spaces or your group may view the galleries as a self-guided experience. Please set aside one hour for your visit. If you are interested in visiting more than one of our museums, staff can assist you with a schedule. Those planning to visit more than one museum in Lexington can contact the Lexington Visitor Center at (540) 463-3777 for assistance. To start the reservation process, please fill out our School Group form.
