In this conversation with Caleb Dance, associate professor of classics, we'll learn how Caleb's research and teaching are influenced by humor, improvisation and "sprezzatura" (studied carelessness). He also explains how he first became interested in the classics, the importance he places on study abroad, and his personal musical interests and endeavors, including the work he does with the nonprofit MIMA (Modern Improvisation Music Appreciation).
