A Little About Me
Favorite place on campus: A tie between the Lenfest Center for the Arts and the Outing Club barn. I spent a lot of my time at both and there’s always something to do or see or hang out with.
Favorite part of your W&L experience: I was able to live in Lexington over the summer for three of my four years. Those were some of my favorite moments at W&L since I had the opportunity to research with friends or be involved with theatre productions in the local community. It’s also a great time to explore the rest of Virginia.
Favorite place to eat in Lexington: There are so many great options for food around town it is difficult to choose one! Kenney’s has great fried chicken for after a hike or geology lab. Niko’s for brunch on Sunday. Napa Thai on a rainy day.
Favorite W&L event: Not a singular event but more so the collection of speakers that are brought to camps via the Contact Committee. To name a few: Jane Goodall, Laverne Cox, Bill Nye, and Barbara Ehrenreich.
What makes Lexington unique? A strong sense of community paired with the beauty of and access to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Favorite thing to do outside work? I enjoy walks, board games, reading, and playing guitar.
