A Litte About Me
Favorite place on campus: Like most W&L folks, I have more than one favorite place on campus but one of mine is definitely the Lenfest Center for the Arts. I was a theater kid in high school and a chorister and English major in college, so I’ve always been a big fan of the arts. My wife and I have been attending performances in the Lenfest Center for nearly 20 years and love watching our talented students perform on stage and show their visual art creations. They’re incredibly inspiring in their talent and hard work!
Favorite place to eat in Lexington? TAPS for its cozy vibe or Pronto for their legit gelato.
Favorite W&L event: My favorite events include Commencement week fireworks, Lessons & Carols, Mock Con.
What do you think makes Lexington unique? Lexington's beauty and personality make it unique. The town & colleges together make for a great atmosphere, and our setting on the Maury River in the Virginia mountains is pretty perfect. Plus we’re just a hop and a skip from DC, Richmond, Charlotte and other cities.
Favorite thing to do outside work? Boating, W&L sports or arts events, and hanging with my family, including our boxer, Harley.
