The Peer Counseling Program was developed at the request of students who felt a need to learn how to help their friends who were struggling with problems while in college. The Peers are selected each spring following an application and interview process. These concerned campus leaders receive focused training in the early fall and then participate in an ongoing monthly training program throughout the year. The Peer Counselors have been instrumental in assisting many students on the undergraduate and law school campuses to find help with problems experienced by fellow students. If you are interested in applying to be a Peer Counselor, speak to a student who is already on the team or to one of the professional counselors.
