Senior year is an exciting time; let us make your visit to W&L just as exciting. By showing you what it is like to be a W&L student and allowing you to experience life at W&L. We offer a variety of different activities for you during your campus visit, from information sessions led by our admission staff, to student-led campus tours, individual admissions interviews, and class visits.
Information sessions are a great way to learn more about life inside and outside the classroom at W&L. Led by a member of the admission staff, information sessions let you explore what makes academic and student life at W&L distinctive and exciting. It provides you a great overview of the application and admissions process, and it gives you a chance to ask our knowledgeable admissions officers any questions you may have. Each session typically last an hour and is followed or preceded by a campus tour.
Schedule a Group Information Session
Campus tours are the best way to get the inside scoop on student life at W&L. Led by a current student these tours immerse you in the daily life of a W&L student and let you explore the ins and outs of campus. These 60-minute walking tours provide you a glimpse into academic, athletic, and residential life on campus all the with your own personal student narrator.
We strongly recommend that applicants to W&L have a personal interview. The interview is a great way to tell us more about yourself and why you want to attend W&L. Each interview is one-on-one with a member of our admissions staff and allows us to gain valuable insight into you an individual while providing you with time to ask any questions you may have about the W&L or our admissions process. Interviews typically last 30-45 minutes.
Interview slots fill up quickly, especially during the fall. Please allow several weeks advance notice when scheduling. Also, please note that we recommend you also attend an information session and campus tour on the day of your interview. This will ensure you get the most from your time on campus.

Can't make it to Lexington to interview? No problem. We have alumni in over 90 metro areas throughout the United States who are happy to arrange for you to have an alumni interview near your home. These alumni are trained by our admissions staff and are happy to answer any questions about W&L and the admission process. Alumni interviews and on-campus interviews are valued equally in our admissions process.
You may arrange an alumni interview from September through the end January of your senior year by contacting the Alumni Admissions Chair nearest you. Please allow several weeks advance notice to schedule.
