The search for a new Provost is underway. The anticipated schedule for the appointment is as follows:
May 15, 2012 - Search committee appointed, search firm selected.
August 25, 2012 - Position prospectus completed.
September, 2012 - Public announcement of position opportunity.
Fall 2012 — Opportunities provided for all members of the community to meet with the search committee and to share aspirations for the next Provost. Members of the community may submit nominations and other input to WLProvost@imsearch.com.
Late Fall and Early Winter 2012 — Committee members will review applications and select semi-finalists to participate in off-campus interviews.
Winter 2013 — Finalists invited for on-campus interviews.
Late Winter/Early Spring 2013 — Committee presents finalists to President Ruscio.
Summer 2013 — New Provost welcomed to W&L.
