Washington and Lee University
Upon retirement of Provost June R. Aprille in June 2011, President Kenneth P. Ruscio announced that Dr. Robert A. Strong, William Lyne Wilson Professor of Politics, would serve a two-year appointment as the Interim Provost and that a search for a new Provost would be conducted in 2012-13.
President Ruscio also named a Search Committee and retained the services of Isaacson Miller to assist with the search. The goal is to bring finalists to campus for interviews in early 2013 and to have a Provost named next spring.
