Composer Margaret Brouwer, professor of music at W&L, 1988-96, brought together these vibrant young musicians initially to launch a Summer Concert Series in resorts along the shores of Ohio's Lake Erie. It was so successful with many requests for repeat appearances that the season has expanded to the entire year and to traditional concert venues. Brouwer says: "It is a special thrill to be presenting a concert at W&L with my group, Blue Streak. I am eagerly anticipating connecting with old friends and rekindling many wonderful memories, and seeing the new music building and other changes."
