Tom Artwick serves up a helping of some of the finest music to have graced the cinema in decades including music from Michel Legrand, Henry Mancini and Quincy Jones. These creative jazz settings will be interpreted by an impressive collection of Artwick's musical colleagues. Many melodies may be familiar to audiences, but be prepared to hear them in ways never imagined. SonoKlect director Terry Vosbein admits, "I have been a fan of Tom's playing since he arrived in Lexington many years ago. His always creative improvisations have brought me to tears and to my feet." Artwick has been lecturer of saxophone and jazz improvisation and a valuable asset of the W&L music department since 2000.
