AS IS by William M. Hoffman is the story of the central character's struggle with AIDs and its impact on him, his friends, lovers, family, and the medical community is told in a seamless stream-of-consciousness flow that has a compelling inner logic and a meaningful structure. Hoffman seeks a warm and humorous tone for his play, which allows the pain to gather subtly and leave us entertained, instructed, and powerfully moved.
“… The most impressive work being performed on or off-Broadway… It is beautifully written and splendidly performed.” – Variety “A wonderful and frightening play…” – The New York Post
LOADED by Elliot Ramon Potts is the story of 47-year old Patrick who is accustomed to having the upper hand in his intimate encounters, both sexually and intellectually … until he meets Jude, an equally intelligent, quick-witted 24 year old. Their attempt at playful banter starts to open wounds and expose their arrogance and hypocrisies. The sex may have been hot, but the conversation is incendiary.
