Early Decision

Can't Make it to Lexington?

There are various ways in which you can still connect with Washington and Lee University:

You've crushed your Halloween candy and have a turkey thawing in the fridge. But as you prepare for the holidays, don't forget about Washington and Lee's upcoming deadlines! Early Decision 1 closes on November 15th and the Johnson Scholarship deadline is December 1st.

Early Decision is a binding program- meaning that you may only apply to one school Early Decision and if you are admitted you must enroll. The benefit is a higher acceptance rate and receiving your admissions decision earlier (around December 22nd).

To apply for the Johnson Scholarship Program, Washington and Lee's merit-based scholarship, you must file your completed admissions application and the supplemental essay by the deadline. The admissions staff will review applications and name about 200 finalists. For more information on the Johnson Scholarship, please visit our website!

So while you're still riding high on all that sugar from your Halloween haul, channel some energy toward your application to Washington and Lee. Then sit back, relax and enjoy the holidays!
