Richard Bidlack, of Lexington, Virginia, is the first winner in the "Name That Country" contest held each week during some part of the weekly Radio IE show (WLUR FM, 91.5, Monday 6-7pm or http://wlur.wlu.edu/newWLURlisten.htm). The contest asks listeners to identify correctly a piece of music related to a country where current W&L students are studying abroad. During the first three weeks of the season no correct entries to the contest were received, but Mr. Bidlack broke the drought with correctly identifying "England" as the country identified with the group who sang "Girl" - The Beatles, of course. Congratulations to Mr. Bidlack and tune in each week to Radio IE for your own chance to "Name That Country".
