The faculty's policy is that all degree-seeking undergraduates must carry a full-time course load (at least 12 credits in the fall and winter terms, 4 credits in the spring term).
Exceptions to this rule are quite rare.
Underloads are not checked during registration. Students who have less than the required number of courses penalize only themselves.
Unauthorized underloads beyond two weeks in fall and winter terms, or two days in spring term, will result in students being asked to withdraw from the university.
