Why I Do What I Do: Public radio is addictive. That comes from the power of the human voice, which can convey glee or overwhelming sadness with just a few syllables or -- sometimes -- the lack of them.. The news that public radio produces is in-depth and personal. I love the opportunity it gives me to air interesting stories in a longer format. I work in public radio because I'm a public radio fan!

If I Could Do It All Over Again: Put more effort into learning a foreign language.
