Federal regulations under the Higher Education Opportunity Act require that students who borrow the Washington and Lee Loan complete a Private Education Loan Applicant Self Certification Form. This form MUST be completed in order to borrow the Washington and Lee Loan.
Students are only eligible for this loan if it is determined by the Financial Aid Office that they have exhausted all other options for covering their cost of attendance. If you are eligible for this loan, you will see a Washington and Lee Loan listed in your financial aid award letter.
