Washington and Lee is pleased to benefit from the leadership of alumnus and Chip Nunley. Nunley has served W&L in many volunteer leadership roles, including chairing his 25th and 30th reunions and serving as chair to alumni admissions programs. He has also been an active volunteer in the Richmond Alumni Chapter.
The goal for W&L's 2012-2013 Annual Fund is $8.1 million and is comprised of gifts from alumni and friends. The Annual Fund also includes the Law Annual Fund and the Parents Fund. Chong Kim ‘92L is serving as Chair of the Law Annual Fund, with a goal of $1,000,000. Sally and Tim Howard P'13 are serving as chairs of the Parents Leadership Council, leading the effort to raise $1.2 million this year from non-alumni parents.
"Although our goal of $8.1 million may appear aggressive in this challenged economic climate, we have real confidence that our alumni, parents and friends of the University will continue to recognize the importance of the Annual Fund and contribute in a meaningful way," said Ellis.
Nunley, Kim and the Howards will lead a group of dedicated volunteers in this fundraising effort. W&L is fortunate to have the service of over 200 undergraduate class agents, more than 200 reunion volunteers, 65 law class agents and over 25 parent volunteers this year.
