Consider this: the Annual Fund supports every member of the faculty and staff; it buys athletic uniforms and library books; it pays the light bill; it sends students on field trips. In other words, the Annual Fund underwrites the campus.

In this economy, your gift to the Annual Fund matters more than ever. It would take an additional $140 million in endowment dollars to provide the same amount of support each year that Washington and Lee's alumni, parents and friends provide through the Annual Fund.

DETAILS:

• The 2011-12 Annual Fund runs from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012.
• The fundraising goal for the 2011-12 Annual Fund is $7.7 million.
• This goal includes $900,000 specifically designated to the School of Law from its graduates and friends, and $1,000,000 from current and past parents.
• All gifts and pledges completed before June 30th count toward the 2011-12 goal.
