Washington and Lee is committed to preparing its Law Students to practice the highest Standards of legal ethics and professional. Donor support helps to enhance and enrich the professionalism education across all three years.
Law clinics provide practical learning opportunities for students at the School of Law. Professors work directly with students to provide legal assistance to clients on selected issues. Donors may choose to name and endow the following six clinics: Black Lung Program; Virginia Capital Case Clearinghouse; Community Legal Practice Clinic; Legal Aid Clinic; Public Prosecutors Program; and the Transnational Law Institute
