Make an Impact: Create Financial Flexibility

The Washington and Lee Annual Fund provides six percent of the University's operating budget and represents the critical difference in our ability to fulfill our mission. Maintaining a strong, growing Annual Fund is especially critical in these times of economic uncertainty, when budgetary challenges tax the University's resources. Support of the Annual Fund is essential if the University is to meet its strategic goals. Membership in The President's Society recognizes leadership gifts to the Annual Fund at many levels.

The Parents Leadership Council
The Parents Leadership Council is a special leadership giving society for parents who make annual gifts to the Parents Fund. These individuals provide the foundation of the Parents Fund and contribute significant support for the people and programs that make W&L great. Membership in the Parents Leadership Council brings special opportunities for engagement with the University and other parents, which can be very rewarding.

The Dean's Council
The Dean's Council recognizes those individuals whose total annual giving to the School of Law is $2,500 or more. Gifts may be designated to the Law Annual Fund, specific funds such as the Steinheimer or Groot Professorships, one of the School's named scholarship funds, Lewis Hall renovations, or any combination of Law Annual Funds and other specific funds.
