Washington and Lee University
Women in Math and Science (WIMS) is a new group that aims to build a community of women students and faculty in math and science on campus. We host speakers, organize social events, and have workshops on topics such as how to apply for graduate school in math and science. The group enables women students and faculty to interact on a personal and professional level and discuss issues particular to succeeding as a woman in these male-dominated fields.
