Washington and Lee University
Washington and Lee Hillel offers a monthly community Shabbat service and dinner starting at 5 p.m., usually on the first Friday of the month. This "First Fridays at Five" event is open to all students, faculty, staff, and members of the Lexington/Rockbridge community. On other Friday evenings students and their guests meet at 5:30 for "Shabbat Shalom" candle-lighting, Kiddush, Motzi, and reflection, followed by a simple dinner.
