Undergraduate Public Labs

There are approximately 200 computers in public labs and departmental labs available for students across the undergraduate W&L campus. All public computers are configured with Windows 7 or Mac OS, Microsoft Office and the latest Internet Explorer or Safari and FireFox browsers.

There is either a laser printer or BizHub printer in each public computer lab or cluster. Printing in public labs is tracked for each student. Pages printed by a monochrome laserjet printer cost $0.10 each. Pages printed by a color laserjet printer cost $0.30 each. Undergraduate students are credited $50 for printing during the school year ($20 for Fall term, $20 for Winter term and $10 for Spring term). Any student whose printing charges are in excess of the term printing credit will be billed through their student account at the end of the term. Unused printing credit is not transferred to the next term.
