Cross -disciplinary integration of organizational behavior with ethics and its application to current business problems in finance and information technology.

Organizational Behavior and Management, Behavioral Skills for Managers and Professionals, and "Money, Power, and Lies" ( Behavioral Ethics seminar with major focus on the finance industry).

Background

Rick Herbert has spent most of his career in industry, but always with some involvement in teaching. Degrees and leadership positions in engineering, human resources, and finance have lead him to an interdisciplinary view of business problems, which is reflected in his teaching and research interests. He has taught and played saxophone at Washington and Lee since 2008. Rick returns to Rochester, New York in the summers to teach at the Rochester Institute of Technology and sail on Lake Ontario. He is also an avid skier, biker, and sports car enthusiast.
