Professor Grajzl joined Washington and Lee in 2009. He teaches courses in microeconomics, mathematical economics, and the economics of institutions and governance.
Professor Grajzl received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2005 and was an assistant professor at the Central European University from 2005 and 2009. He received teaching awards from the University of Maryland at College Park and the Central European University.
Professor Grajzl's research interests lie in comparative institutional economics, law and economics, and political economy. His research has appeared in Constitutional Political Economy, Economics of Governance, Economics of Transition, International Review of Law and Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Socio-Economics, and Review of Law and Economics.
