Using the principal players from the famous Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, the Ensemble regularly performs core chamber works with extensive tours to France, Germany, North and South America, Australia and New Zealand. They have recorded over 30 albums on the Philips, Hyperion and Chandos labels. At Washington and Lee, their program will include Dvořák’s Sextet in A Major and Mendelssohn’s glorious Octet for Strings.
