Your gift to the Annual Fund touches every corner of campus.  Your support helps Washington and Lee attract the nation's best students and faculty and provide them the finest academic resources and learning environment.

Do not underestimate the role you play in Washington and Lee's success. Because of the fluctuating economy, Washington and Lee's endowments are producing much less revenue to operate the University. The Annual Fund matters more than ever. It would take an additional $130 million in endowment dollars to provide the same amount of support each year that Washington and Lee's alumni, parents and friends provide through the Annual Fund.

DETAILS:

  • The 2009-10 Annual Fund runs from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010.
  • The fundraising goal for the 2009-10 Annual Fund is $6.9 million. 
  • This goal includes $850,000 specifically designated to the School of Law from its graduates and friends, and $1,000,000 from current and past parents.
  • All gifts and pledges completed before June 30th count toward the 2009-10 goal.
