Summer Scholars is an academic program that allows a select group of American and foreign rising high school seniors to:

  • take college level courses in small classes
  • build confidence by learning about all aspects of college life
  • develop intellectual curiosity
  • make friends from around the world
  • learn to budget time
  • and even do your own laundry!

Summer Scholars consists of two components:

Academic: Outstanding professors teach rigorous collegelevel courses. Students can select one of six curricula described below for the four-week period. Classes meet daily, Monday through Friday, and involve preparation and assignments outside of class.

Cocurricular Activities: The Summer Scholars program provides daily intramural and other out-of-class activities
