Men's Lacrosse

The Washington and Lee men's lacrosse program has a long and storied tradition of excellence. The Generals competed as an NCAA Division I Independent until 1986 and produced some of the sport's greatest players, coaches and historical events. Since moving to Division III in 1987, W&L has won eight Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships and advanced to the NCAA Tournament eight times, finishing as a semifinalist in 1987, 2000 and 2002. Since beginning play as a varsity sport in 1947, W&L lacrosse players have earned All-America honors a staggering 172 times.

    Washington and Lee senior midfielder Harry St. John (Essex Fells, N.J./West Essex) scored unassisted just 38 seconds into overtime to lift the 10th-ranked and third-seeded Generals to a 15-14 overtime victory over top-ranked and No. 1 seed Roanoke College in the finals of the ODAC men’s lacrosse championship on Sunday afternoon at Kerr Stadium.
  • W&L Men's Lacrosse Defeats Lynchburg College, 12-11, in ODAC Semifinals
    The third-seeded and 10th-ranked Washington and Lee men's lacrosse team knocked off second-seeded and 15th-ranked Lynchburg College, 12-11, in the semifinals of the ODAC Tournament on Wednesday evening at Shellenberger Field.
