Washington and Lee University will host the 59th annual celebration of Parents & Family Weekend October 4 - 6, 2013, honoring the families of W&L students. The weekend will combine informational and recreational activities, giving parents the opportunity to meet with members of the faculty, review campus life, and participate in social events.

ATTIRE FOR THE WEEKEND IS INFORMAL
PARKING ON CAMPUS
Visiting family members are encouraged to park in the parking garage. It is a short walk up the hill to the John W. Elrod University Commons.
ON-CAMPUS - CHECKING IN
The Parents and Family Weekend Schedule of Events is subject to change. Upon arriving in Lexington, please check in at the Elrod Commons Living Room to register and receive your W&L tote, which will include the latest schedule and special notices.
JOHN W. ELROD UNIVERSITY COMMONS
The John W. Elrod University Commons brings together student, faculty and staff services and blends state-of-the-art technology with the historic charm of the campus architecture. The 89,000-square-foot building opened in late summer 2004 and is the home to the Division of Student Affairs, University Store, Career Development Center, the Marketplace and Café '77 dining facilities, a game room and TV lounge, a 196-seat theater and auditorium, student organization offices, and meeting spaces. The outdoor amphitheater adds a gathering place and a boardwalk bridge connects the Elrod Commons to Cadaver Bridge and the parking garage.
ONLINE ON CAMPUS
Most of the campus is wireless, and you may use computer terminals in the Elrod Commons, University Registrar's Office, Career Development Center and Hotchkiss Alumni House.

Register at the front desk for a complimentary pass. Please provide your own athletic equipment.
