By a unanimous vote (4-0), the decision rendered on March 4th, 2010 the Board elected to let the Student Judicial Council's decision stand. The Board's decision was in full compliance with the guidelines of the University Board of Appeals structure and the evidence presented.
However, the Board would like to state that in this particular case, the Appellant would have grounds to file their own complaint against the Accused at any of the primary judicial bodies (Student Judicial Council or Student Faculty Hearing Board) after consulting with the Associate Dean of Students Brandon Dotson. Should the Appellant wish to file a complaint, any decisions rendered by the primary judicial bodies could be appealed to the University Board of Appeals. The decision of the UBA is final.
