A team of W&L Philosophy students competed in the 2010 VFIC Ethics Bowl debate competition at the University of Richmond on February 14 and 15.

The team did not advance to the final, in which Randolph-Macon College defeated Hampden-Sydney College. Nevertheless, they won two of their rounds and received high praise from judges and other teams alike.
W&L has won the VFIC Ethics Bowl five times, and has also been runner-up once, in its eleven year history.
