W&L Theater and Dance invite you to a Masterclass led by Jeanmarie Collins on Theater Games of Viola Spolin, the “Grandmother of American Improvisational Theater” on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the Johnson Theatre. All are invited. The Viola Spolin technique teaches theater to students through improvisational exercises. These exercises were the basis of the work of Second City in Chicago.
