
Project GROW is a Families First program that provides housing assistance through the Shelter Plus Care Federal Grant to help TANF recipients and their families with severe and persistent mental illness, substance abuse, chronic illness and other barriers, move toward self-sufficiency through the pursuit of job training and personal development. This comprehensive program offers housing and residential support programs including the development of long-term, community-based interventions to facilitate successful transition of residents into stable and affordable housing and to foster broader integration into the community. Project GROW provides intensive services to single parents with children who are recovering from a substance abuse problem and/or mental health issues.
