Lauren Schultz believes "leadership is important because progress depends on individuals to take the first steps towards improvement and to encourage others to make positive changes." Lauren hopes to take the first steps towards improvement by pursuing a curriculum in physics-engineering at Washington and Lee, while allowing herself time to indulge in her hobby of running. Lauren graduated from Hopkinton High School in Hopkinton, Mass. where she held the distinction of Valedictorian.
