Topping the list of reasons why Joseph Landry decided to attend Washington and Lee? "I decided to attend Washington and Lee because I believe it promises to educate the entire person, from academics to ethics," he says. Joseph comes to W&L from New Ipswich, New Hampshire where he graduated from Saint Bernard's Central Catholic High School and received the "male All-Bernardian award, the highest award given to a graduating senior at Saint Bernard's High School." While he's accomplished a lot already Joseph looks forward to studying politics and possibly attending law school. After receiving the Johnson Scholarship, Joseph says law school is more attainable. "I can now focus on my education rather than my bank account for the next four years, and the scholarship will allow me to be able to better afford law school in the years after that."
